About Rebecca

I am a clinical social work intern who strives to create a space of warmth, connection, realness, safety, and growth together with my clients. I am known to care deeply for my clients and want to honor their story and experiences.

I enjoy working with adults and teens wanting support with depression, anxiety, relationship or family conflict, trauma, ADHD, autism, navigating identity or life changes. I have years of experience as a youth mentor and housing case manager, as well as a conflict resolution and harm reduction educator. I am experienced in working with Latino/x/e, Black, immigrant, queer, and transgender clients. As a therapist and ally, I am committed to continuing my education and self-reflective practices while working with various marginalized communities.

My Approach

My approach to therapy is relational, feminist, narrative, and can integrate somatic and culturally specific support. I want to create a space of trust, connection, and empowerment for my clients. We will work together to unravel where you are from, where you are now, and where you would like to be. We can explore how your body holds and carries your stress and trauma. We can be creative and integrate connections to your culture, heritage, or spirituality into your mental health support.

Outside of Work

I identify as white, Latina, queer, neurodivergent, and polyamorous. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my three cats, practicing Reiki, paddle boarding, camping, and creative writing. I am originally from Santa Cruz, CA where I regularly visit my family and soak up the sunshine!
