I’m a professional counselor associate seeing clients in Oregon. I provide relational and liberatory counseling services to individuals who hold multiple marginalized identities as they navigate life stressors.

As a queer woman of color who lives with chronic illness and pain, I center disability and racial justice in my work. I support individuals who are searching for ways to connect to their own Self and body, as well as others around them.

Though I work with a wide range of experiences with adults and teens (16+), my specialties include life and body transitions, anxiety, trauma, chronic illness and disability, racial and queer identity development, and grief work. I am a neurodivergent-affirming provider, and support all relationship and family structures.

Our work together is collaborative. I prioritize warmth, humor, and authenticity in my role as a therapist. I view your coping mechanisms as wise strategies that your body has relied on over the course of your life. Together, we can examine these strategies, explore if there’s anything that might work differently/better, and introduce more choice into your internal landscape. I often rely on somatic practices, and look to your body as a powerful messenger. Even if your connection to your body feels severed or damaged, we will work to repair that line of connection at your own pace. I draw guidance from Internal Family Systems, which views our inner system as a collection of parts that protect our core Self, as well as Narrative therapy, which invites you to reflect on and rewrite your own story. I am firmly grounded in a decolonized approach to therapy, and will often address the external and oppressive systems that impact your well-being.

I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Portland State University. I am a Certified Body Trust® Provider through the Center for Body Trust, which grounds my practice in weight-inclusive and strength-based frameworks. I receive supervision from Bibbi (Nicole) Taylor, LPC, NCC, who specializes in antiracist and anti-oppressive counseling services.

Outside of therapy, I am usually immersed in a good story—whether it be a show, a book, or a podcast. When my body allows, I love to be outside on a walk, hopefully finding a dog to pet!
